The visit
The Casa Batlló was a house remodeled by Gaudí between 1904 and 1906 for a wealthy factory owner and business man named Mr. Josep Batlló y Casanovas. It was named a world heritage site by UNESCO and has earned the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award from 2013 through 2016, and it is well worth the time to visit!

The terrace gives you a view of Barcelona’s skyline and a different view of Passeig de Gràcia, this time from above.
When you make your way down the Patio of Lights, take a look through the glass which gives you the feeling of being underwater. Once you are outside, take another look at the incredible façade and roof designs, and maybe you will notice more details than your first look.
