November, time for  chestnuts and moniatos (sweet potatoes) grilled on the streets of Barcelona.

What : Casa Vicens is the first masterpiece of Antoni Gaudí and sowed the seeds of later works.
Built between 1883 and 1885 as a summer house for the Vicens family, here he showcased his unparalleled talent. Declared Unesco World Heritage in 2005.

When: Samedi 4, you will be given 5 November from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: Carrer dels Pellaires, 30, 08019 Barcelona

What: monthly meeting (all the first weekend of each month) in an old factory of Poblenou you will discovered  creators, you will be welcome to the concerts and order food in a name from the food-truck. Ideal for “feeling” the old Barcelona and the new tendencies. Once in a while, the place is located in the middle of the setting and the kids love discovering culinary novelties and being able to dance.

Poble Espanyol: medieval fair

When: Friday 3 November from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 4 November from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday 5 November from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Poble Espanyol, Av Francesc Ferrer i Guardia, 13, 08038 Barcelona.

What: a big market, from workshops to all ages, from musical shows, to knights’ school, attractions and high-class activities for the whole family. All in a space reconstructing the architecture of all the Spanish regionsThese events are organically regulated in the Poble Espanyol, allowing you to enjoy more of your visit.

When: from November 25th

Where: on the cathedral square

What: a huge Christmas market, on the cathedral square in the old town. You will find all the decoration for Christmas with figures of the Catalan tradition as Caga Tiò and the Caganers (we will tell you more about these characters in December)

This market is very busy, we advise you to come in the morning with the youngest.
