Sagrada Familia is one of Barcelona’s most populated tourist areas. There isn’t a single day that goes by where people are not flooding the streets, pushing and shoving their way to get into the Basilica. All around Sagrada Familia are restaurants and shops to accommodate these large crowds. With all these options it can be hard to find a place that is yummy and great for the kids too. We have compiled a list of the best family-friendly restaurants around Sagrada Familia. Each restaurant we have selected can accommodate for any type of food craving.

Can Pizza

Family-Friendly Restaurants near Sagrada Familia

Can you really go wrong with pizza? We don’t think so. Can Pizza is located right around the corner from Sagrada Familia. They have an extensive selection of pizza from white sauce to red sauce options. There is the classics like margherita and pepperoni, but they also have their own fun creations like John Sparrowgo which has mozzarella, asparagus, guanciale (pork), scamorza (cheese), two eggs, pecorino, dried tomato pesto, and thyme. They also have a list of carpaccio options and hot dish appetizer items too. Once you finish your pizza they have some really yummy desserts like tiramisu to try. Either way you slice it you’re gonna find something you like.

As for the kids, there are definitely kid-friendly food options for them like more mild pizzas or hot dishes. The restaurant does offer high chairs as well for the younger kids.

Gaudi Bakery

Family-Friendly Restaurants near Sagrada Familia

Gaudi Bakery looks like it could have been designed by Gaudi himself. The restaurant is decorated head to toe in bright pastel colors and mosaics like Gaudi was known for using in his work. There is a little fountain outside that very closely resembles pieces that Gaudi has made in the past. It is the perfect place to go after visiting Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s most impressive work to date. Make your day a montage to the best and continue to surround yourself with his magnificent style. They are only open for breakfast and lunch so it is best to to take a morning tour of Sagrada Familia and then head over here. They have a long menu full of bakery treats, breakfast foods, and sandwiches. From the bakery they offer homemade croissants, cookies, cakes, brownies, and bread. They also have tea and coffee to wake you up for the rest of your day exploring Barcelona.

The kids will love this spot for its wacky and fun design. The younger ones can also be accommodated here with high chairs too. Take the kids and experience more of Gaudi.

As the name might suggest this place primarily offers tacos but they do also have quesadillas, nachos, and other appetizers. They have all different types of tacos like beef, shrimp, pork, and more. The restaurant is painted in bright and beautiful colors that really set the good mood. The whole atmosphere is super fun and the food is great. If your kids like tacos then this would be great. Restaurant Singular

Family-Friendly Restaurants near Sagrada Familia

Restaurant Singular pays tribute to the wonderful traditions of Catalan cuisine. They have all the perfect classics from tapas to main courses. They also offer some non-traditional classics as well like burgers too. The restaurant is more of an upscale choice, but it certainly won’t break the bank. The food is definitely more fancy and elevated but the prices aren’t too bad for what is being offered. If you want something a little nicer for the family to all enjoy then this is a good one to check out before or after going to Sagrada Familia. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner so you can go at any point during the day. They have high chairs for the younger kids but if you have a picky eater on your hands it might not be the best choice. Some of the dishes might be a little too much for the kids but if your child enjoys a good classic burger then they should be fine.
